Bahariya oasis is known for its sunny dry weather throughout the summer and winter. Its natural springs (cold and hot) amount to 398 springs (sulphurous and mineral). In addition to ancient Roman springs that flow sulphuric water and known for its curative qualities.
Ruins of the Graeco-Roman periods at Al Qasr, Bawiti, and Qaret Helwa areas receive great attention from visitors.
